The Maryland General Assembly meets each year for 90 days to act on thousands of bills. In any given year, the liberal establishment introduces legislation that goes after our law enforcement and 2nd Amendment rights, raises our taxes, coddles criminals, and makes it harder for businesses to start and survive. The majority of Carroll County residents do not support these beliefs and ideas, and Carroll County needs representation in the House of Delegates who will fight against far-left policies and legislation.
I have the energy and enthusiasm needed to fight back against vaccine mandates and COVID-19 restrictions, and stop liberal indoctrination from entering our schools. I have the experience needed to advocate for small businesses and less taxes, protect our agriculture, ensure election integrity, defend life, address the opioid epidemic, and stand up for our brave men & women in law enforcement.
As a bi-weekly conservative opinion columnist for the Carroll County Times and the Baltimore Sun, I fought for the community, defended conservative values, and used my platform to inspire change and action. Over the course of four years, I wrote over 80 columns covering a variety of subjects. Check them out and learn more about me!
The Sun asked, “What is the most pressing issue in your district?”
My response - “Keeping Carroll County — Carroll. Our County is surrounded by Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, and Frederick Counties — which we've seen change significantly over the last 50 years. Despite our close proximity to these other counties, Carroll has managed to protect our agricultural heritage, ensure that taxes remain low, and keep crime down. And this is not by accident. For decades Carroll County has had strong conservatives in the General Assembly and in leadership at the local & County levels. Carroll will not continue to look like Carroll if we do not continue to fight for the values that truly represent this great County. Unfortunately, we see individuals moving up to Carroll who want to leave their old counties (i.e. Montgomery) because of overgrowth, high taxes, and increased crime, yet they want to push their ideologies and beliefs here. I will fight without end to see that Carroll County's values never change!”
